Sign into ShareBuilder

How do I sign in to my ShareBuilder account?

Signing into your ShareBuilder account is a snap – if you have your username and password handy.

However, if your username and password have slipped from memory, or the dog ate them, you can look up your username and reset your password.

Remember: keep your account secure by never giving your username and password to anybody, anywhere, at any time (thanks in advance).

Where do I enter my password?

The first step is to type in your username, and then select Sign In.

If you haven't created Enhanced Sign-In Security, you can enter your password at the prompt.

Tip: Once you've created your Enhanced Sign-In Security, you'll want to make sure you see an image and phrase before you enter your password or other sensitive information.

Is the ShareBuilder site secure?

You bet the ShareBuilder website and apps are secure. Our tech department has mad computer scientists whose job it is to make sure your account stays safe. For investors who like technical details, we'll match the encryption level of your browser up to 256-bit.

We also use a bunch of physical, electronic and procedural methods to safeguard our systems and your information.

On your end, you can help us by enrolling in our Enhanced Sign-in Security. This lets you pick your very own image and phrase, so you know you're on the authentic ShareBuilder website – before you provide your account password information.

Tip: For a fun read, please refer to our privacy policy or review the Security and Protection section. There, you'll see legal jargon that says we'll never sell your contact or account information.

  • You get to pick from a library of images and then you'll get to type a short phrase.
  • Then, your security image and phrase will appear on the sign in page – before you enter your super-secret password.
  • If you or someone else attempts to sign in from a new or unrecognized computer, you get to answer two security questions so that we can verify your identity.
