How can I tell if I am on a secure page?

Speaking generally, you can tell that you are on a secure page if a small lock icon appears in the bottom-right corner of your browser window and/or if the address of the page you are viewing begins in "https".

If you're viewing our content through a partner site (any associated site other than www.sharebuilder.com), you may be within a frameset which prevents your browser from displaying the secure symbol, even though the ShareBuilder content is secure.

To verify you're on a secure page, please follow the instructions for the browser you are using:

Internet Explorer:
  1. Right-click on the ShareBuilder content you're viewing and select Properties.
  2. Verify that the entry for Protocol reads HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy.
