PortfolioBuilder is a tool that is designed to help you identify your investing goals, gauge your investing style and determine your risk tolerance. By evaluating your answers to a series of basic questions, PortfolioBuilder will be able to present you with a model portfolio of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that correlates to your investor profile.

For investors wanting to start with a smaller investment amount, your model portfolio will include just a few ETFs to minimize the transaction fees associated with each trade. For larger investments, PortfolioBuilder will recommend a larger portfolio that may include more targeted ETFs, which allow you to focus on more narrowly defined stock or bond indices.
