Does ShareBuilder require a minimum investment?

While there is no minimum investment requirement to buy stocks and ETFs through ShareBuilder, your investment must be more than the commission for each trade. If you invest in mutual funds, there may be investment minimums required by the fund family.

The commissions for your Automatic Investment Plan's scheduled investments depend on the pricing program you have selected. There are three pricing programs to choose from, each offering different features to help you meet your investing goals: Basic, Standard, and Advantage.
